What if stewardship has less to do with what you have in your hands and more to do with the identity you're carrying while you hold the provision God has entrusted to you?
As we close the Reclaiming Our Identity series today, we're bringing the pieces together: the promise, the territory, the inhabitants, and the identity patterns that can quietly occupy space in our lives without us realizing it. Fear, performance, scarcity, hiddenness, control, false security, and old agreements can begin influencing the way we make decisions, approach our finances, build, wait, serve, and respond to what God has entrusted to us. But the Father doesn't reveal these things simply so we can become more aware of what's wrong with us. He reveals them because He is reclaiming territory. And what He reclaims, He teaches us how to steward.
In this final conversation, we're moving from “What is occupying territory in me?” to a deeper question:
“Father, what are You asking me to do with the territory You are reclaiming?”
Because the promise, the provision and the assignment were never meant to become our identity.
We are His daughters first. And when that becomes settled in us, we can begin to steward our lives, our resources, our assignments, our relationships, our opportunities, and even our waiting seasons from a different place. Not from fear, striving, or performance. But from our Identity in Christ. This is where the journey moves from recognition to surrender, from surrender to renewal, and from renewal into faithful action.
4 Key Takeaways
What occupies your territory can influence how you steward your life.
The Father reveals what is occupying territory because He is making room.
You don't have to make the promise, provision, or assignment prove who you are. You are a daughter before you are a steward, business owner, leader, mother, wife, creator, or anything else God has called you to be. Your identity doesn't come from what you're building or what you're able to produce.
Stewardship begins to look different when you live from identity.

Sometimes we spend all our energy begging God to change the circumstances around us, completely missing the fact that He is trying to transform something within us. In part 13 of Reclaiming Our Identity series, we are diving back into Exodus 33 to look at the inhabitants God promised to drive out of Israel's territory. But as I sat with this scripture, a game-changing question hit me: What if these inhabitants aren't just historical enemies? What if they reveal the invisible mindsets squatting on the territory of our own hearts, keeping us from the abundant life promised to us?
That question forced me to look under the hood of my own life, especially my years of wrestling with a deep-rooted poverty mindset. I used to think my financial struggles were just a math problem, a budgeting problem, or and not having enough. But God exposed a web of fear, scarcity, and survival defaults that were quietly hijacking my identity and my bank account. Maybe you are living that exact same story right now. You might be calling your fear "wisdom," your micromanagement "responsibility," or your survival habits "just the way life is."
But the Father is inviting you today, to look at those spaces with Him today. This isn't about shaming you or listing your flaws; it’s about clearing out the baggage that doesn't align with His truth so you can finally step into your actual birthright as His daughter.
Come sit with this one slowly, and ask the Father what He may be inviting you to see.
4 Key Takeaways
Whatever has occupied territory does not define your identity. Fear, scarcity, rejection, control, and survival may have shaped parts of your story, but they do not get to tell you who you are. Your identity begins with what God says about you.
Sometimes the deeper issue isn't the circumstance; it's the belief underneath it. God may use an ordinary struggle, a financial situation, a decision, or a season of waiting to reveal something deeper about the way you've learned to see yourself and Him.
Reclaiming your identity means allowing the Father to remove what no longer agrees with His truth. There is no shame in discovering something God wants to change. The Father who reveals what has been occupying territory is also the Father who restores what belongs there.
You don't have to rebuild your life from the identity that helped you survive. You can begin again from your identity in Christ, learning to move from survival toward stewardship, scarcity toward trust, fear toward faith, and old agreements toward truth.

Have you ever returned to a familiar passage of Scripture only to realize the Father was waiting to show you something you'd never seen before?
That's exactly what happened to me in Exodus 33. I went back to understand the people God promised to drive out before Israel entered the Promised Land. Instead, the Holy Spirit gently revealed something much deeper, my own view of the Father's heart. For years, I had focused on Israel's rebellion. This time, I saw God's faithfulness. I watched Moses respond to God's promise in a way that challenged me. While the people still had a land flowing with milk and honey ahead of them, Moses wasn't satisfied with the promise if God's presence wasn't going with them.
Have I ever become so focused on what I'm believing God for that I've stopped pursuing the One who made the promise? This episode is an invitation to slow down, return to the Father's heart, and remember what truly distinguishes His sons and daughters. It's not what we accomplish, what we possess, or even the promises we're waiting to see fulfilled.
It's His presence.
As you listen, I pray you'll hear the Father's invitation to lay down striving, rediscover the beauty of simply walking with Him, and reclaim another piece of your identity as His beloved daughter.
Four Key Takeaways
1. God's presence is what distinguishes His people.
Our identity has never been rooted in what we achieve or receive. Like Moses, we're invited to value the Father's presence above every promise He gives.
2. The Father is more interested in forming us than simply moving us forward.
Sometimes the greatest work God is doing isn't changing our circumstances it's transforming our hearts so we can know Him more deeply and reflect Him more faithfully.
3. Identity is reclaimed when we see the Father's heart clearly.
The more we understand His faithfulness, mercy, and holiness, the less we'll define ourselves by performance, striving, or fear. We begin living as daughters who are deeply loved.
4. Every promise is an invitation into deeper relationship.
God's gifts are beautiful, but they were never meant to replace the Giver. When our hearts remain anchored in His presence, we can receive His promises without losing ourselves in them.

Have you ever wondered why certain memories, relationships, or seasons from your past suddenly come back to mind?
For years, I assumed God was reminding me of what other people had done. But during one Morning Stillness, the Father revealed something I never expected—He wasn't asking me to revisit my past. He was inviting me to let Him heal what my past had left behind.
Welcome back to our Reclaiming Our Identity series—a journey of returning to the truth of who God says we are. In this episode, I share a personal testimony about old friendships, hidden heart patterns, and the surprising way God prepares us for the future by first transforming us from the inside out.
If you've been asking God for healthier relationships, greater freedom, or a deeper walk with Him, this conversation may help you recognize what He's doing beneath the surface.
🔑4 Key Takeaways:
Relationships often reveal what we believe about ourselves—but they were never meant to define who we are.
The Father doesn't expose unhealthy patterns to shame us; He reveals them so He can restore us to our true identity in Christ.
Freedom begins when we stop adapting for acceptance and learn to abide confidently as daughters of God.
Transformation isn't found in striving to become someone new, but in returning daily to the truth of who God says we already are.

What if the Father isn't waiting for you to pray harder... but to become still enough to see what He's already doing?
In this episode, I share a deeply personal Morning Stillness encounter that transformed the way I pray, surrender, and respond as a daughter of God. What began as a morning filled with concerns about my children became an invitation to climb the watchtower, release control, and discover the peace that comes from aligning her heart with the Father's heart.
Together, we'll explore how Jesus modeled this same posture of dependence, why surrender is rooted in relationship rather than obligation, and how Morning Stillness has become more than a daily rhythm. It has become a way of living from identity instead of anxiety.
If you've been carrying the weight of trying to fix people, control outcomes, or understand God's will, this conversation is an invitation to lay those burdens down and learn to see what the Father is already doing.
Four Key Takeaways
Position Before Perspective
Before God gives direction, He often invites us to take our position before Him. Like Habakkuk on the watchtower, we learn to quiet our hearts and watch for what the Father is doing before responding.
Peace Comes When We Release Control
Sometimes what we call "concern" is actually carrying responsibility that belongs to God. As daughters, we're invited to release control over people and outcomes and trust the Father with what only He can govern.
Morning Stillness Is About Relationship, Not Routine
The goal isn't to complete another spiritual checklist. Morning Stillness is an invitation to let the Holy Spirit search our hearts, renew our minds, and align our desires with the Father's heart before we begin our day.
A Daughter Lives From Communion, Not Striving
Jesus modeled a life of complete dependence on the Father. As we spend time in His presence, our hearts are transformed, our minds are renewed, and His desires gradually become our own.

There comes a moment when you realize you've been trying to carry life in your own strength.
Where independence has become so familiar that dependence feels almost unnatural.
In this episode, I share a deeply personal reflection from a morning when the Holy Spirit reminded me that what I needed most wasn't more discipline or another strategy. I needed a fresh filling of His presence.
Together, we revisit one of my favorite passages in Scripture, Exodus 33, where Moses refused to move forward without God. His prayer wasn't simply about direction. It was about relationship. Moses understood something every daughter of God must eventually discover: God's presence isn't optional. It's everything.
If you've been feeling spiritually weary, emotionally drained, or like you've been trying to push through life in your own strength, I believe this conversation will gently call you back to the place where peace begins... total dependence on the Father.
Scripture Mentioned
Exodus 33
"If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here."
🔑 Four Key Takeaways
1. Total dependence is not weakness. It's the posture of a daughter.
The Kingdom was never designed to be built through self-sufficiency. Every assignment begins with recognizing our need for the Father's presence.
2. God's presence is greater than His provision.
Moses wasn't satisfied with an angel going before him. He wanted God Himself. True intimacy values the Giver more than the gifts.
3. Every season requires fresh oil.
Yesterday's strength cannot sustain today's assignment. God continually invites us to receive a fresh filling of His Holy Spirit as we walk with Him.
4. Returning is always available.
Whether you've drifted, grown tired, or simply found yourself relying on your own strength again, the Father never shames your return. He welcomes it.
🤝Continue the Journey
If today's conversation helped you recognize how independence may have quietly shaped the way you live, work, or relate to God, you don't have to walk through that discovery alone.
If you're looking for greater clarity about the identity patterns influencing your thoughts and responses, begin with the Kingdom Identity Assessment™.

And if you're ready to move beyond awareness into a daily lifestyle of walking with God from identity instead of striving, The Realignment Journey™ will guide you through the same process God used to transform my own life.

It begins by returning to the Father.

How to Depend on God Instead of Yourself

Have you ever wondered why Jesus walked away from the crowds when His ministry was growing?
In this episode of our Reclaiming Our Identity series, we're looking at Luke 5:16 through a different lens. What began as a simple Bible reading became an invitation to rethink the way we build, lead, and steward what God has entrusted to us.
As I sat with one verse, the Holy Spirit revealed that this wasn't just a lesson about prayer. It was about identity. Before Jesus responded to the growing demands around Him, He withdrew to spend time with the Father. That one observation challenged the way I think about business, productivity, and success.
Together, we'll explore what it means to reclaim our identity as Kingdom businesswomen by following Jesus' example. We'll talk about the first voice that shapes our day, why intimacy with the Father must come before opportunity, and how hidden seasons often become God's preparation for greater stewardship.
Whether you're building a business, leading a ministry, raising a family, or faithfully stewarding the life God has entrusted to you, this conversation will encourage you to build from your identity as a daughter rather than from the pressure of performance.
🔐4 Key Takeaways:
1. A Kingdom businesswoman builds from her identity as a daughter.
Before you are a businesswoman, leader, mother, or ministry leader, you are first a daughter of God. Everything you build is meant to flow from that relationship with the Father.
2. The Father's voice should govern every decision you make.
Jesus met with the Father before He met with the crowds. The first voice you agree with becomes the lens through which you'll interpret every opportunity, responsibility, and decision that follows.
3. Growth should deepen your dependence on God, not your distance from Him.
As the crowds grew, Jesus withdrew. Instead of allowing demand to dictate His direction, He remained rooted in communion with the Father. Kingdom builders don't let busyness replace intimacy.
4. Hidden seasons are often God's preparation for greater stewardship.
When God calls you back to the basics, He isn't holding you back. He's preparing your heart to faithfully steward what He's about to place in your hands.

What if the pressure you've been carrying was never part of your assignment?
In this episode, I want to invite you into a conversation the Father has been having with me. It began with one quiet question that exposed something I didn't even realize I had been carrying. Somewhere along the way, I had started measuring my faithfulness by outcomes instead of obedience. I had quietly accepted responsibilities that God never asked me to hold.
As I sat with Him, He began weaving together the lives of Noah, Habakkuk, Jehoshaphat, and ultimately Jesus, showing me that faithful builders don't begin with results. They begin in relationship.
If you've been building a business, writing a book, leading a ministry, raising a family, or simply trying to remain faithful to what God has placed in front of you, this conversation is for you.
Together we'll explore what it means to stop chasing outcomes and start living as daughters who build from identity, trust, and daily communion with the Father.
Because peace doesn't come from controlling the harvest. It comes from remembering whose garden you're tending.
Key Takeaways:
Why so many Christian women quietly begin carrying responsibilities God never assigned to them.
The difference between building from pressure and building from relationship.
What Noah, Habakkuk, Jehoshaphat, and Jesus reveal about faithful stewardship.
How Morning Stillness, the watchtower, and simple Kingdom rhythms help us return to God's voice before we begin building.
Why your assignment is faithfulness, while the outcome belongs to God.

What if the thing you've been praying for isn't being withheld?
What if the Father has been gently healing your ability to receive what He's already prepared?
Continuing the series on Reclaiming Our Identity, in this episode, I share a deeply personal Morning Stillness encounter that completely changed the way I understood receiving. What began as a wandering thought about my framework became an invitation to ask the Lord one simple prayer:
"Father, search my heart."
Together we'll explore what it looks like to receive from relationship instead of striving, why Morning Stillness has become such a sacred place of discovery in my own life, and how the Father gently restores our hearts so we can receive what He's already prepared.
If you've ever felt like you're waiting on God, this episode may help you discover that He has been inviting you into something much deeper all along.
❦4 Key Takeaways
1. Sometimes God isn't preparing the blessing. He's preparing our hearts to receive it.
2. Fear isn't always the root. Sometimes it's protecting a deeper wound.
3. Daughters receive differently than orphans.
4. Transformation begins with returning, not performing.
❦Stay With This This Week
Before you ask God for something new...
Ask Him to reveal anything that may be keeping you from receiving what He's already given.
Spend a few quiet moments in His presence and simply pray:
"Father, I ask for understanding, I ask that You search my heart. Show me what You want me to see. I no longer want to block what You are trying to get to me. Teach me to receive as Your daughter."
Then sit with Him.
Listen.
Let Him lead the conversation.

What if the problem isn't actually the problem?
In this episode of the Reclaiming Our Identity Series, Idina shares how God used health, finances, career challenges, and everyday life situations to reveal a deeper truth: the real battle was never the circumstance—it was identity.
Through personal stories, practical stewardship, and biblical truth, you'll discover how pressure often exposes areas where we've been leaning on our own understanding instead of partnering with God. Drawing from Proverbs 3:5-8, 3 John 1:2, John 15, and the story of the widow's oil in 2 Kings 4, this episode explores what happens when we stop striving for outcomes and start walking as daughters through Jesus Christ.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, out of alignment, exhausted by performance, or frustrated by repeated cycles, this conversation will help you identify what God may be revealing and how to return to His truth one step at a time.
This isn't an episode about weight loss, or productivity.
It's an episode about stewardship, identity, and learning how to trust God with the outcome.
Because realignment begins when we stop carrying what was never ours to carry.
4 Key Takeaways:
• Why the problem you're focused on may not be the real problem• How opposition can reveal areas that are out of alignment• The difference between striving and stewardship• Why identity must come before transformation
